Print Magazine is pleased to announce that Debbie Millman will be designing the cover of its Regional Design Annual, to be released in November of this year.

The Regional Design Annual, now in its 32nd year and one of the most respected competitions in the design market, is a comprehensive look at graphic design in the United States and the only design competition organized by geography.

“I’m very excited to be given this incredible opportunity. I have been an avid reader of Print Magazine ever since I started my career in design and the Regional Design Annual is one of my favorite issues every year,” said Debbie Millman, President of Sterling Brands design division and Chair of the Masters in Branding program at the School of Visual Arts, “Designing the cover is a real honor and I’m looking forward to working with the Print Magazine editorial team.”

Print is a bimonthly magazine about visual culture and design. Founded in 1940 by William Edwin Rudge, Print is dedicated to showcasing the extraordinary in design on and off the page. Covering a field as broad as communication itself-publication and book design, animation and motion graphics, corporate branding and rock posters, exhibitions and street art-Print covers commercial, social, and environmental design from every angle. Engagingly written by cultural reporters and critics who look at design in its social, political, and historical contexts, Print explores why our world looks the way it looks, and why the way it looks matters.
