Victorian Sexploits
|
The Victorians were known for their buttoned up behavior yet odd proclivities. I recently found a Victorian postcard that is positively surreal in the oddness of its proclivitiness. A man and woman (above) are apparently playing a game of kiss n' shoe, whereby the woman upon getting kissed drops a mena's shoe to the ground. Although the significance of the act and the rules of the sport elude me, the card is a vivid example of love and leather Victorian-style.
