Giving and Receiving

Arguably, giving is much better than receiving–unless you are a museum, and then receiving is pretty darn good. And speaking of museums, my favorite Miami Beach repository for incredible design, The Wolfsonian-Florida International University, likes to show some of its wonderful gifts here. If you have an hour (or less) to spend surfing through the last eight years of gift/acquisitions, you’ll find some rarities donated by Ladislav Sutnar’s son, Radislav (above), some Times Square memorabilia from Vicki Gold Levi (below), a Georg Jensen catalog from Michael Rosenfeld (below that one), some great souvenir postcards from Lawrence Wiggins, and even some Iron Fists material from me (way below).
