Snowsoft

San Francisco-based New Deal Design created Snowsoft, a line of snowboard accessories, to get objects out of snowboarders’ pockets and hands and into more convenient places. Softlock, the line’s first launch, mounts directly onto the board and can’t be removed without the combination. It has a stamped-aluminum case and retractable, plastic-coated steel aircraft cable. The lock’s plastic dial, which is easily accessible to the gloved hand, has a small magnifying lens to clearly display the combination numbers. It retails for $29.95. www.newdealdesign.com
