Dateline Italia: As Venezia readies for the cultural onslaught next week that is the the Venice Biennale, Fondazione Claudio Buzol (which is currently collaborating with the SVA Masters Workshop in Venice), directed by Renzo di Renzo, is making preparations for various events. Located on the Grand Canal, the Fondazione is one of the hubs of activity.
Their overall program includes a website that is an “observatory of young people’s creativity.” The Fondazione organizes conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and cultural events in general; it supports educationalactivity through grants and partnerships with educational institutions. It also offers residencies for artists (check out the website for details). If you are in Venice next week, stop by and join the festivities.What’s more, the restored palazzo in which it is housed is simply beautiful (as the images above and below attest).
