The Uniform Makes the Man

Some say the uniform makes the man. Some say the man makes the uniform. Whichever bromide you prefer (and I’m with the latter), the photographs of this military Zelig are the most surreal thing I’ve seen on the Interweb. They come from Digger History, a chronicle of 6,000 pages on military history and design. The web graphics aren’t much, but the model grows on you.
