One reads from left to right, the other from right to left. One is in English, the other Farsi. What they have in common is design, typography and print. They are design magazines. People of Print is published in the UK with the trademark “Print Isn’t Dead” and features masters of letterpress, illustration and more. Neshan is the Iranian Graphic Design Magazine and hails from Tehran, and handsomely covers the international design scene, with “the aim of promoting the design and visual culture [with the] intention of ameliorating ties between the graphic designers of Iran, Asia and all parts of the world.” Both are essential contributions to the current practice and history of design.
