Separated Well After Birth

Here is one of those classic cases of influence getting the better of a designer. Look at this 1990 poster by Stasys Eidrigevicius (left). Now look at this 2012 poster by Wojtek Korkuc (right). Although it is not an exact replica of the former, it has enough similar characteristics to suggest either homage or copy. It once again raises the question of when is inspiration too much—when has the line been crossed? And has it been crossed here? A difficult question to answer.
