Niko Courtelis is a creative director, filmmaker, and, says the Kat Ran Press, “a butcher of stamps.” He carves, cuts and eerily reassembles rare and vintage stamps into collages with sly wit and artful juxtapositions. His book, published by Kat Ran, Philatelic Atrocities, takes these paper “Frankensteins and turns them into a lookbook of freaks, oddities, printing, and design.”
