The SVA MFA Designer as Author + Entrepreneur “Designer As
” Thesis Launch and Celebration opens on May 2 at the Visual Arts Gallery (601 West 26th Street, 15th floor) from 6 – 8 pm. The Class of 2012 entrepreneurial products are on view in a uniquely designed and produced iPad publication. Rather than exhibiting physical objects, the entire event presented in an iPad lounge (along with projections).
In addition to the digital pitches, each student produced a poster that explains their respective roles as design entrepreneurs, using representational glyphs to telegraph the idea of “Designer As
