Over the last 35 years, ESI Design has created transformative experiences that encourage conversation, collaboration, and action, and this month they focus on the “favorite tools in our design repertoire —Games.” This is because, as Edwin Schlossberg has said, “Games provide an engaging way to model and learn new skills, forge positive social interactions.” Last week, ESI was involved with the Games for Change Festival, which makes clear that games “can even change the world (and your destiny)!”

ESI helped Games For Change by combining an open innovation platform with an onsite activity to create a list of the “100 Games Everyone Should Play.” In the coming months, the collective intelligence of the community will be translated into a valuable new resource that can be used by anyone around the globe eager to join the G4C movement. Check out the results here. Here are the top five to receive the most votes: 1. Chess, 2. Settlers of Catan, 3. Tetris, 4. Dungeons and Dragons, and 5. Portal.

And here is where you can play some of the latest games introduced at the festival.
