These publications bookend the development of the Graphic Design Industry from a typographic treatise underwritten by the educational wing of the German printing trade union to an elaborately-produced and self-financed exposition of the principles of visual design. Like doting parents we claim no favorites, but love them all regardless of their quirks and flaws.
