It is said — and has been written — that art and artistry is everywhere. The commercial artist is not muse-driven, but “artist” is not a misnomer. From time to time, it is worth revisiting vintage graphic design purely as art, not for art’s sake, but for what it says about making the ordinary transcend the common.
