The Original Desktops

These are the apple of my eye. Once, they were what was next.  Old “writing machines,” used in print shops, trade schools and offices at the turn of the century, were the original desktops. I cut my proverbial type-writing teeth on an old Address-o-graph. Our forebears used these bulky yet beautiful numbers. And they were much cheaper than an iPad too (take that Tekserve!).

Amazing that so many of these old time brands are still or were until recently in business. (Notice the one above weighs about as much as a Dell laptop.)
