Update: The Portfolio Review deadline has been extended to Saturday, December 1.
Competitions are an important way for designers to gain exposure for their work. But here at Print, we recognize that many designers have competition fatigue. That’s why we’re launching the Portfolio Review. It’s a new opportunity for designers to show off their stuff and personally connect with some of the top designers in the country.
Here’s how it works: To enter, submit eight to ten pieces from your portfolio. Every entry will be featured in an online gallery, where it will be seen by thousands of designers, art directors, and others in the industry. In addition, our panel of five judges—Mirko Ilić, Natasha Jen, Debbie Millman, Scott Stowell, and Jessica Walsh—will chose five winners. A sixth winner will be determined by popular vote in the online gallery.
The winners will receive a trip to San Francisco to attend next June’s HOW Design Live conference, as well a one-on-one meeting with one of the judges and a profile in the June 2013 issue of Print. And runners-up will be featured here on Imprint.
The deadline is November 1. Click here for more details.
As it is typical to set time zone or setting the clock on desktop in windows 10 and for this problem we are providing you the best site https://setclockwindows.com/ and you will be glad to have this site after sorting out your problems.
Call it what you want, but this is another competion. What’s next, portfolio review fatigue?
yes, why is Print Magazine not available on South Africa, a country with a biiiiiig print industry???!!!
a greeting from an artist/graphic designer in south africa, its a beautiful initiative this and hope one day print mag will extend its reach to our shores! much love…
No knock against the many great panelists judging this non-competition, But I pose a question to Print, with judges, winners, runners-up, prizes, etc, how is this a cure for “competition fatigue”? Is this like when the forest service builds a fire to prevent a larger fire from spreading?
This is a great way for designers to get exposure. I wish everyone that enters the best of luck.
