For those of you who are fans of the current crop of dystopias (like “The Hunger Games” or “Super Sad True Love Story” ), here’s a provocative campaign from the New! ad agency in Vilnus, Lithuania (creative director: Mantas Maciulskis) that rings all too true in that eerie way. In every age there are a few multinationals that seem to rule the earth on the surface and from below. We are now entering the world where business and faith are merging. We’ve put our faith in Facebook, Apple and Google, a holy trinity if there ever was one. This “What Will We Worship Next?” campaign for Login: The Conference of Future Insights) may be prescient — or just presciently silly.
