Le sac Français

Le sac (the bag) has long been a popular venue for commercial advertising in la belle France. Not so different from here, except le sac Françias has more Je ne sais pas ce que. Because of primitive printing techniques, most looked pretty rudimentary. But they have a certain a raw quality that might be called beautiful functional design tactility. Here are a few I picked up on the streets of Paris.

Great visuals! You mention primitive printing, but keep us in the dark as to the specifics!

Letterpress? Gravure? Do the French le sac manufacturers keep printing with 100 year old equipment?

Thanks for keeping the graphic arts alive in all their iterations.
