  2. it’s worth noting that Frank Frazetta was considering giving up art for lack of work when his old boss, Wm. Gaines, offered him that Brech Shampoo ad parody, the one with Ringo. That led to him getting contracts for the Conan paperback covers at Lancer and some film poster work, restarting his career.
