Anyone have samples or links that show an example of a "dummy layout" for a 16-page newsletter?
I have a client who has difficulty writing articles that are the right length for a 16-page publication.
I have provided him with word counts several times but he has a hard time writing to write to fit those.
The publication's overall look and basic format is pretty well set and not open to much change.
The editor we work with keeps asking us to do a "dummy layout" using
rough drafts of the articles at an earlier stage of the writing. But
the rough drafts are not always available in time.
I'm not sure what he has in mind.
I'm familiar with doing dummies for completely new publications, but not for one that is already in existence.
Any help? Thank you in advance.
