I can't help it. Elwood H. (for Herbert) Smith has always made me
smile. His line is so witty, his ideas are so goofy, his hair is so
curly. I've known "wood" for many years, and I never tire of his
slapstick rooted in cartoon lore.
Now he has a blog (okay doesn't everybody?), but this blog makes me smile 'cause its pure unadulterated "wood."
I know its not the scholarly analysis one is used to from me. But what the hey. . .
Hey, maybe this week will be Illustrator Appreciation Week on the
ole DH. Thanks Elwood for making me and other folks smile so much.
