The Los Angeles Wende Museum is dedicated to acquiring and documenting the objects born of the Cold War, in all its inglorious incarnations, from the East and West. It offers 100,000 objects and documents, from the most banal to the most incendiary. Check out some of their highlights here. What was produced in the service of politics is an eye opener.
