New museum sites are popping up all over. Here's a newbie by Studio Blue:

The new site furthers the IMA's mission, dedicated to reaching out to -- and actively participating in -- its diverse community. To convey the institution's vitality and breadth, content is structured around four persistent modules: a "how to visit" module, a calendar of events, a gallery of images, and an “explore” module, documenting collections, exhibitions, and educational resources. The site includes the entire IMA collections database, illustrated with images of the collection; blogs; exhibition podcasts; and behind-the-scenes videography. Visitors are invited to express and share their views by tagging and commenting, making this one of the most progressive museum web sites in its ability to enable visitors to interact and share information online.

Actually, this image links to the wrong site (one designed, in part, by the IMA's advertising partner). The site described above is: www.imamuseum.org

Thanks, Steve!
