Even after seeing Dennis Hopper and Steve Martin at Art Basel's main
Convention Center, I contend the best event (ever) was Stefan Sagmeister's
installation at the magestic Wolfsonian Musuem. Against the thunderous
percusive sounds of the Ballet Mechanique, Herr Sagmeister
presented his "Low Expectations" drink extravaganza.
Regrettably, I could not photograph the scene because I was too busy
nobbing with the hobs, but I'll link to the event as soon as images are
available.
Today, the last official Art Basel day, Sagmeister will give a talk
about his new book and Everything He's learned in Life, So Far
for those lucky enough to fit in the Wolfsonian's 100 plus seat
auditorium.
