The yellow cab is a New York City signature.
Alternately a welcome sight and at times an infuriating ride for many who use them, need them, and rely on them. For years public interest groups and government have worked to improve service and most recently Design for the Public Trust and the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission produced a book "Taxi Roads Forward," designed by mgmt. design to illuminate the yellow phenomenon.
