Lisa van Noorden's LuckyUnlucky campaign aims to increase awareness of the use of child soldiers in too many parts of the globe. "By integrating the theme into the visual arts, I wish to bring more direct impact," she says.

The campaign is based on a collection of 24 dolls based on photographs and stories of real child soldiers (some as young as 3 years old). The dolls are paired - Lucky and Unlucky - the former is an ordinary child, the latter a conscripted soldier.
