Hi everyone!
For your personal logo, which way would/did you go..? Real name or made up name?
Rookies vs veterans......... Real name or made up name? Should there be a difference?
If a freelance rookie designer used an agency name as opposed to a real name, would that seem cocky?
If a veteran used his/her own name for his/her logo, would that seem passe?
I'd love to get your opinion on this!
Thanks! Simply curious..............

Hey.
I use both my real name and a more corporate name depending on what I am pursuing. They both can be used to your advantage if you're looking to get hired through a company or as a freelancer. Using personal names is how someone would remember you as a person with unique skills. Using a corporate name can make your work experience look a little sharper in the business aspect. Professionalism is what's very important today because people are looking for dependability. Using your name can express responsibility and a willingness to grow with a company. So it all really depends on what you're trying to gain. Hope that helped. |
