President Herbert Hoover is said to have promised “A chicken in every pot” (and a car in every garage). He probably was not aware that his slogan would have ironic resonance decades later for residents of West Los Angeles where a one time Kentucky Fried Chicken store is now a medical marijuana dispensary called KFC, Kind for Cures.
A full service supplier, one of dozens in LA, open 7 days a week, KFC says “No Chicken Here,” but offers a fine selection of legalized smokeable, edible and cookable weed: U2 Kush, Blackberry Kush, K.F.C. Og, Tahoe Og, Tight Golden Nuggs!, Diamond OG, South Park Kush, Bitchin’ Blue Dream, Green Crack, Maui Wowie, Sour Diesel, Swedish Delight, Dutch Treat, Kali Mist, Sour Candy, Woody Og, Blueberry Pie, Lemon Skunk, Super Silver Haze, Ruby Doobie and much more. The edibles come in s’mores, brownies, reefer cups, stoney ranchers, “Ogeo’s” and more.
The packaging possibilities are infinite. Instead of the venerable Colonel Sanders, perhaps a Captain Cheech would suffice. Instead of 12g bags they could have 10 g, 30 1/8, 60 1/4 g buckets.
