August 8, 2008. Barnbrook Design has launched a website to coincide with the Beijing Olympics that reiterates demands for Tibetan independence by calling on artists and designers to make their own statements about the ongoing occupation of the country by China. Created by Jonathan Barnbrook of Barnbrook Design and designer Pedro Inoue, the site’s inaugural posting is a 90-second animated film that presents, clearly and concisely, the reasons for not being passive about the situation. Barnbrook will continue to add posters and other material as well, but is looking for input from other creative types to keep the site as engaging as the dilemma, itself. remembertibet.org
