Jessica Svendsen, Yale School of Art grad now employed at Pentagram, handled Michael Bierut’s 100 Days Workshop in a spectacular way. Redesigning this Josef Müller-Brockmann, each approach plays with space and typography, and there are several excellent solutions, all in black and white. Shepard Fairey’s Message: God Saves and Satan Invests
One of the things I love most about Shepard Fairey is that he understands the Power of Print. I met him several years ago at a trade show for the cable industry. While the show floor was pounding with music, video screens, and spectacular flashing images, Fairey’s staff pasted his posters – hundreds of them – around a large 500 square foot booth.
