November 7, 2008. Today marked the beginning of the student-mounted "A Better World by Design" conference hosted by Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design, which will run through November 9. The event is intended to promote globally conscious design in industry and academia and includes presentations by Architecture for Humanity‘s Cameron Sinclair and Steve Glenn of Living Homes, as well as panelists from IDEO, Bruce Mau Design and Engineers Without Borders.
