Screen Printing, Round One

Recently, the grad school friends and I went to Mission Cultural Center and did some amateur screen printing.

This was one more way for us to make and think about our thesis and have some fun at the same time.

Kate worked on some typographic cards.

Renée worked with the mapping system she’d developed last semester. She was excited to use the screen printing technique to play around with layering.

I did something simple using an Anais Nin quote that had spoken to me. I’d like to wake up and read this quote every morning, before starting the day. It’s going into the kitchen above the coffee maker.

We’re going back to screen print this week, and I’m planning to get adventurous and use more than one color!
