Published by Peninsula Press, Emily Ogden’s book “On Not Knowing: How to Love and Other Essays has a book cover that is refreshingly, well, mysterious. The neon chartreuse spotlight that takes up the majority of the book cover, covering a few letters, is overwhelming but in a playful way. A book cover cannot often feel excitingly like modern art, but this cover could easily sit in a gallery.
