MOTTA is a new conceptual brand of cannabis-infused cosmetics for the woman looking for a high-end skincare experience and to naturally hydrate, heal and relax their bodies. Motta enhances all the benefits of CBD oil and it is enriched with powerful antioxidant ingredients to deeply soothe and nourish the skin.
The goal was to design a modern brand with a sophisticated visual identity including the naming, packaging and communication materials, with a clean aesthetic, bold typography and an overall warm mood.
The name MOTTA is a derivation of the Spanish slang word "mota" which is used in Latin America to refer to marijuana. Our intention is to resignify the term to make it synonymous with elegance and sophistication. By using an alternative spelling we achieve the differentiation of the name, adding the extra consonant "T" to stylize it and add character.
