What’s a retired Rolling Stones bassist to do after the thrill is gone? Well, Bill Wyman has designed his own “signature” metal detector (above). In addition to maintaining a steady bass line, this rolling stone gathers loose change and the occasional precious metals. While these days he gets no satisfaction playing oldies, it’s like a rainbow when testing his metal with his mother’s little helper, which beats painting a line of cars black, wouldn’t you say?
