A rose is a rose even when it is a letter of the alphabet.
On the eastern side of the Aventine Hill, next to the Circus Maximus opposite the Roman Forum, each year one of the most stunningly ephemeral natural displays take place, the blooming of a thousand roses in Rome’s Municipal Rose Garden. Roseto Comunale di Roma includes two sections: a slightly larger one located uphill, and a lower one, separated by a short road, via di Valle Murcia.
There are also beds of roses that spell out Premio Roma. The kerning needs work, but you can see the rosarian typographers are faithful to basic Rose Roman Letter below.
