CreativeMornings is a highly successful meet-up of design oldies and newbies curated by Tina Roth Eisenberg, the legendary SwissMiss. This year she is trying something special by passing the mic to members of the audience and inviting anyone interested to apply to be a December CreativeMornings speaker in New York City or Los Angeles. Three people will be chosen from each chapter to make an eight minute talk.
To apply: submit an application and a 60 second “talk-to-the-webcam” video giving the low-down about “you, your talk, and why you’d love to speak at CreativeMornings.” Also, please fill out the short application form to the right. Deadline for submissions is Nov 20, 9pm EST.
As a former speaker, I was intrigued by Tina’s invitation, so I asked her:
What is the goal of your “open call?” We always meet so many remarkable people at CreativeMornings so we thought it would be a great way to discover new speakers. CreativeMornings is all about local communities and what better way then to show that than handing the mic over to them.
Who would you like to attract? Interesting makers, doers and thinkers that can tell a good story.
Can I apply? I am sorry but we don’t do repeats. But you can be our guest of honor at the event in December.
Sounds good! Love the kitty!
