With all the Xmas blogging, it’s time to give equal space to the Festival of Lights–what has been called the most fuel-efficient holiday of them all. Eight days on one can of oil is nothing to sneeze at. What’s more, whatever you say about Xmas, a tree is always a tree, but a menorah can be any assemblage of eight candles plus one. So for your Channukah pleasure, here are my fave menorahs with the best above and the rest below–and with a special tip of the skull-cap to the M.I.T. Test Tube menorah (bottom). Have a happy!
