Found while strolling through the Passage des Panoramas off the Grands Boulevards is the shop of Tombees Ducamion, a small yet packed tableau vivant, where all the items that comprise the various small tableaux and mise en scene in the store are for sale.

This walk-in-Joseph Cornell-box is replete with vintage things, like doll appendages, miniature globes, gothic wood types, tiny tin boxes, enamel watch faces, small, medium and large winking eyes, bicycle logos, whistles and dozens of other ephemeral items. Tombees Duamion is a curated junk store that beckons the passionate and casual flea-farer.

The website is also a treat – and quite usual for the average second-handarie. If your in Paris this and a kindred shop at 17, rue Joseph Maistre, should be a must stop and see.
