Posterheroes, created in 2010 by PLUG association, has posted a call to the international creative community for posters about social and environmental issues. The invitation is open to everyone and especially aims to involve young people.

10,863 posters have been sent in over the years, from more than 100 different countries. Participants have the chance to win a cash prize, take part in events and be featured in Posterheroes publications and editorial projects. A panel comprising international experts in the fields of illustration, animation, arts and visual communication selects their favorite entries. Two catalogues, made with the support of Favini, three calendars and several public exhibitions have been produced to promote the winning posters and disseminate their messages.

The 2020 Posterheroes theme is “Humans at Work,” and is about future work scenarios and the role of dignified employment in the lives of individuals and in the sustainable development of society.
