Saturday Night Fever

Back in 1937, before we were all born and the Great Depression came to a final end with the outbreak of WWII, one could learn to dance for just 35 cents and a little gumption. For those who can’t afford the dough today, but have the gumption, Saturday is dance day (and night) at The Daily Heller. Here’s a little guide that would, if I reproduced the entire booklet (which I’m not), teach you to do the 1937’s latest steps: The Suzi-Q, Swing Waltz, Trucking, Chassez Pivot and the Valencia Turn, among them.

Remember to heed the advice of the editors (below top) and give the light fantastic a try.
