In the days before truck-side decals and other surface coverings, there was nothing more appealing than well-painted truck lettering. Except, perhaps, raised chromium metal sign lettering. Gust Rusch & Co. of Milwaukee was known as a florist, but they were a budding sign-making enterprise as well. Here is a little treat by way of David Cohn. It may not be the finest of letter designs, but it is a fine bouquet of chromium.
