He’d rather call it the DF3 (Design Film Trilogy) but it is a testament to Gary Hustwit’s energy and ingenuity. His three design films, Helvetica, Objectified and Urbanized are poised to be released in a limited edition. Here’s what the Urbanized website says:

“We’ve created a limited-edition box set of definitive editions of Helvetica, Objectified, and Urbanized (on DVD or Blu-ray disc) in a specially designed slipcover package, designed by our friends at Build. The clothbound box set includes a hardcover art book featuring photos from making of the three films, and essays from Steven Heller and Gary Hustwit. Discs are Region 0 (world) and include extra content and English language subtitles. Each copy is signed by director Gary Hustwit. We’re producing 1,000 copies of this box set, but most of those have already been committed to backers of our Kickstarter campaign last year. The prices are now $120 for the DVD version, and $140 for the Blu-ray version.
