Early last year, Scott Dadich hosted a webinar about magazine publishing on the iPad that provided an insider’s perspective on the rapidly evolving field. In the year and a half since that broadcast, a lot has changed in the digital-publishing sphere. So we’re thrilled to have Dadich returning to host a follow-up presentation, Best Practices in Digital Magazine Publishing, streaming live on September 27.

Since last year, Condé Nast—where Dadich is the vice president of editorial platforms and design—has not only expanded the number of titles that it offers on the iPad (up to 14 now), but it has also made its magazines available on the Nook, the Kindle Fire, and the Nexus 7. In his upcoming tutorial, Dadich will talk about the current and near-future tablet-magazine landscape; describe the latest updates to the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite; and provide a rundown of the best practices in digital-magazine design and user interaction. In short, the webcast will be an indispensable cheat sheet from the guy who’s bringing some of the world’s biggest magazine brands to tablet devices.

Dadich’s presentation promises to be an essential resource for magazine art directors, designers, editors, and pretty much anyone else navigating the transition from print to digital publishing. Register now for the live design tutorial, taking place Thursday, September 27, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EDT.
