Out of the New York Region comes RDA-winning Dan Blackman, a multi-disciplinary design firm specializing in branding, design, art direction, and illustration. The firm utilized those specialties when Jack King of Pointer Brand clothing out of Bristol, TN, asked them for a brand refresh. Pointer Brand is a hardy, family-owned business whose clothing is 100% made in the U.S.. Dan Blackman used black-and-white photography, textured materials and no-nonsense typography in the identity and branding design to reflect those characteristics.
