The Designers Republic was charged with a difficult task: design the artwork for a pioneering electronic artist who hadn’t released a new album in over 13 years. The result is an intriguing high concept design for Aphex Twin’s upcoming album Syro. The musician, known for disturbing and unusual images in his artwork, took a different tack with the new record. Photos were jettisoned in favor of printing every cost associated with the record on its sleeves. The album is out September 22 and available in regular and limited edition vinyl box set (shown below) versions.
