AIGA is a professional association for graphic arts with a focus on bringing better design to the world. The group was founded in 1914 in New York City as a way for artists, printers, publishers, and illustrators to come together as one community.
Today, AIGA has over 70 chapters and 15,000 members, and the community has genuinely created a cultural shift in the industry.

From July 13-16, AIGA will host a virtual Portfolio Festival for anyone in the design world. From current students to recent graduates to seasoned designers simply looking to give their portfolio a refresh-the festival is for all.
Throughout the event, there will be content from educators, influencers, partners, and professionals alike. This year’s keynote speakers include; Jina Anne, the designer, developer, and artist; Aaron Draplin, the effervescent designer with some killer Skillshare classes; Kaleena Sales, the writer, illustrator, and graphic design educator; and, finally, Zipeng Zhu, an artist, designer, and Instagram mastermind at @zzdesign.
So, if you need a little portfolio redesign or just want to join in on a community of like-minded people, tune into this year’s AIGA Portfolio Festival.
