To pass the time during the coronavirus lockdown in Paris, the inventive letter and type designer Jerome Corgier is supporting theater with graphic design. "I did the season program for the theater La Verrerie," he told me in an email.

The posters will be posted on his Instagram, his website and Behance.

For these posters, Corgier, who is known for his eccentric and wild use of paper engineering to make weird and wonderful letters, explained that he made this series of posters using high contrast photographs that he distorted during the scanning process, "then I put on texts, following intuitive desire. I will probably screen print them before the end of the year in duotone."

If you scroll down quickly, you will receive a kinetic jolt of visual energy. A nice way to end the week.
