American Girl Launches A Nostalgic Collaboration With Stoney Clover Lane

For most girls growing up in the 90s like me, the excitement of getting the American Girl Doll catalogue in the mail was on par with Christmas morning or waking up to the news of a snow day. We categorized ourselves by which American Girl Doll we owned—I was bookish and shy, so obviously I had the bespectacled Molly—and acquiring the latest accessories and ephemera for our mini-me’s was our top-most priority.

Considering the power that the American Girl Doll holds over such an avid fanbase, it’s no wonder that a nostalgia-fueled collaboration between the brand and frilly accessories peddler Stoney Clover Lane is in the works.

Much to the delight of wistful millennials, the sister duo behind Stoney Clover Lane is bringing us a sweet assortment of customizable totes and pouches, along with American Girl patches. The collection features SCL’s classic pouch and tote styles in exclusive new prints inspired by the six OG American Girl Dolls—Felicity, Kirsten, Samantha, Addy, Josefina, and Molly (#TeamMolly).

The line will get released on October 22nd, made available at the various Stoney Clover Lane and American Girl retail stores and on each of their websites. The products range from $98 to $198, but who are we kidding— I’d pay anything to feel like a kid again.
