Welcome to Imprint, a new online design community from Print magazine, where the simple idea is to advance and expand the design conversation to include voices and ideas from as many angles as possible.

From illustration to photography, branding to film, styling to web design, Imprint offers fresh daily content that sparks conversation, competition, criticism, passion, and hopefully reaction among all members of the design community.

You are no doubt familiar with some of our authors: Steven Heller, Nicholas Felton, Ellen Lupton, Mario Garcia—all are esteemed names in their respective fields. But our many other contributors are accomplished professionals in their own right, including Jon Crawford-Phillips from innovation studio Fahrenheit 212; Paul Choi from Levi’s, Brian McMullen from McSweeney’s, and Patric King from House of Pretty.

Imprint also features interesting and influential voices you might not know from the worlds of international design, animation, education, design thinking, and many other disciplines. Known, or unknown, each contributor brings insights, inspirations, successes, and even failures to the discussion, offering honest and personal accounts of what they think and how they work.
