It’s no secret that the ceiling fan is the black sheep of the interior-design family. But Ft. Worth, Texas-based Quorum Intl. is trying to change that with Jellyfish, which it calls the “designer’s ceiling fan.” The Jellyfish features a cable suspension system, clear glass body and translucent acrylic blades, which the designers say are almost invisible when spinning. The mouth-blown glass body contains a GU10 halogen bulb, and the fan retails for $695.
